Verified Purchase. This game runs so smooth on the ps4 and has tons of enemies and the characters are so flashy all in their own ways with awesome attacks and combo setups.
The game its self is a masterpiece in the hack and slash world and honestly puts all the Dynasty Warriors to shame.
I wish this game was stateside but the ps4 runs the Japanese version just fine as its its Region Free. Once you get down what all the menus are ect with trial and error its ez pz. I do see the price has exploded since I bought it though so I guess people are starting to see its a hidden gem.
One person found this helpful. The game itself is fantastic and runs perfectly fine on my PS4. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because while the product description says they're selling the Japanese version, the download code for the featured "first print" edition of the game that came with it was for the "Asian" Version which only works in Hong Kong, Singapore, and similar PSN stores. My copy also came from iCyberStore which was the featured merchant at the time.
It's not a huge deal for me because I wasn't really intending to delve into the DLC aspect of the game, but for someone hunting for the proper version of the game, this needs to be addressed.

If you want a dw game without those stupid missions, this is it. Easy to navigate without being able to read Japanese after a few months. Able to upgrade lvls with a point system. Cool Game, Wish it was in English! This game is great if your a fan of dynasty warriors type gameplay.

While it hasn't been translated into English after 5 years of its release no surprise there, Crapcom , Sengoku BASARA 4: Sumeragi is both the best way to play the 4th game until the Anniversary Edition came along , but also the best game in the series. The only downside is that it has not received an English translation of any kind, so the menus will take some navigating, and the stories may be difficult to comprehend.
