I request you to try installing the game in compatibility mode. Follow these steps to install the game in compatibility mode and doom 3 for windows 10 if that helps. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.

Uninstall and Reinstall the Graphics Card Drivers. Step 1: Uninstall the Graphics Card Doo. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and then restart the computer if prompted.

We will be happy to help you. I managed to install Doom 3 from wineows old cds onto my windows 10 alienware. Unfortunately, when I hit Play, it says I need to log in with administrator privileges.

I AM administrator and have all the privileges except for the "special privileges" which you cannot change. So I don't know what else to do. This game worked fine on my windows xp. DOOM 3 is fully compatible with Win I'm not using any compatibility options. I also have a mod called Extreme quality which I believe I installed some years ago. I don't recall which site I got it from though. It may be a better option. I decided to have a look at the disk, and it does have the secdrv.
